Eldon, It was nice to meet you and get to visit yesterday. Have you changed your mind on that VORTEX 2 Deer you put in the OK/MO sale? And how about John David ? He has a GREAT group of sons!

G-29 (Roosevelt/Reno/Malibu/Green36/Legend)

Note: He was a July born fawn from Roulette's wombmate and wasn't expecting anything, but he sure looks like his daddy!

G-30 (Slingshot/Soaring Eagle/BJB/Buckwheat)

Note: Very close to largest Slingshot yearling ever, look out TM!

W-20 Roulette (Reno/Malibu/Green36/Legend)

Note: He had a bad antler infection last year and we nearly lost him, but he came back strong to put up a good showing this year.

W-26 (Blizzard/Slingshot/Banshee/50-50/Crockett)

Note: Backup fawn who's sire was just under 180" @ 2. He should certainly beat his dads score at that age, don't know about you but I'll take that from every back up buck I get!

So I finally got around to posting these guys, Roosevelt & Birchwood... I wanted to make sure the deer grew enough to back up my words, but they will both score over 300" BC! I'm very fortunate to have these two bucks walking around on our farm and want to thank the Kauffman and Walk families for selling us such great yearling bucks!

Is he a 3 yr old?

Wayne, Thanks for the tour of Whitetail Sanctuary. Nothing out a place there! Can you believe I forgot to take any pictures at your place, Solomon Ropps, and William and Johnny Detweilers? I just stood in a daze with my binoculars most the time! It was good to see everybody and wish we could have taken in more farms. Eldon P.S. I had no idea about that big boy John David

Hey Josh thanks a lot! Remember back in the day when we were working at the hatchery together and instead of working we were contemplating how we were going to grow our first 200" buck? Now 6-7 years later look at the type of bucks we both have on our farms; I'd say that it was time well spent!

Wow Mike, they really have buttons already!? I guess I have to start looking harder at mine. You got a well bred doe there and some even better bred fawns. There were only 5 Roosevelt sons born this year including yours so take good care of them because we need to prove this guy. As I've told you many times, I'm always willing to do whatever I can to get new farmers started and I'm just glad to see that you're happy with Regina, hope she's not to much of a pain for ya, haha.

Big River Whitetails ''Big Ticket''@1 update

Still alot of growing left to do.

Just wanted to share how he was coming along.

Thanks for looking,

Chad

Great yearling Chad as well as many of your others. I enjoyed reading the Larmax dialogue's back in the 90 something pages of this thread. I have some Larmax on my farm and anxiously await. A Larmax yearling looks pretty good, but not the size of this guy. Like Drew, I'm curious of Big Ticket's pedigree. He looks great!

Drew, I am 99% sure on the Sire but better wait for DNA. His mother fawned exactly on time with her AI date(Powerball), but crazier things have happened. His dam is a Reno daughter. Bottom side of the dam is Magnus, who is Walks Magnum X Tami. His pedigree is stacked with proven does. I will try and get a full ped sheet up soon.

Larry, thanks and good to hear from you, I will send you pics of some more Larmax offspring very soon.

Mike, thanks. We are just enjoying watching him grow. He will be the biggest yearling we have ever had.

I would like to extend a open invitation to everyone to stop by our farm and see the deer. Please call ahead to set up a time. We would be glad to have you.....Chad

Anyone doing farm tours is welcome to stop and see us. We have about 90 yearling bucks, nearly as many 2 year olds, about 70 three year olds, and a group of 4 year olds. If you want to see selection - we've got it! Many great pedigrees and it is just fun to look at that many bucks!!!

Image is a Shadow 2 year old. The mother is a Waylon/Highroller doe
