Lower lip torn back - need advice

Something must have spooked our does last night. This morning one doe has many skinned up marks on her side and this one has a torn lower lip. Has anyone treated a case like this before? Is there something I can do? Do I need to get a vet involved. She is a well bred doe and has two X-Factor fawns, so I need to be careful with her.

I have a buck here that did the same thing at somebody else's farm.

It needs fixed for cosmetic reasons only in my opinion...The one I have does good, but always slobbers and looks yucky to me ...LOL
 
We had a buck do that twice. We left it alone and it pulled back up by itself both times.

We decided to take action before it got any hotter today. We tranq'd her and super glued it back in place, hopefully the glue will hold long enough to start growing back together. She had two teeth broke out too, which we pulled. Now I'm just hoping she wakes okay and takes care of those precious fawns. Thanks for responding and I will keep you posted.
 
No idea what caused it. The other does and 12 fawns all look good. If something got in the pen I would have expected the fawns to be scraped up from running into the fence?
 
I think it was probably Dogs or could be a Bear, I have had this happen to my Deer, several times. Fortunely they all came back!!!! Possibly it could be Coyote's, if you live in a country setting. Hope everything turns out well!!! Let me Know, Crocket.
 
The glue didn't hold. She spent a lot of time licking the dart sight she tore the glue loose pretty quick. The good news is that she acts okay today and the fawns don't seem hungry. Too hot again today to risk darting her again with my limited abilities to fix it properly. Maybe I can schedule a vet out tomorrow morning if it's not too late for the gums to be sutured back together.
 
Here is the buck I told you about...

His lip was ripped when a dog chased him into a fence.They never did anything to it.He slobbers sometimes, But most of the time he is ok.

Today my vet told me the best thing to do is let it heal by itself. Looks like you guys were right again. Thanks for the replies.
 
Edgemoor, Like I said, we has one do it TWICE, and the second time I thought it would not pull up. I did, just like the first time. Good Luck.
