I was wondering what was the largest Larry yearling EVER. Maybe Loyd can help. So, I'm asking for direct sons.

Also, if anybody knows what largest 2, 3, 4 ,5 ....... is please post.

This is not a Larry commercial, just think I may have a contender.

Just waiting Randy........??????????

Dont wanna look stupid if somebody throws a 220 out there.

Oh, yeah..If DNA is good, Rockstar, him??, and Red #4-Miken? fawn, have the same mother.

Jay, not Larry sons but here are womb brothers that are Grandsons of Larry. Notice the mass of the bases of the buck on the right.

Jeff

Jay just post the pic. The reason for the forums is sharing of information and ideas, but it also is for entertainment. And what is better entertainment than looking at pics of whitetail bucks. Let us see him:)

I dont have a updated one right now. He is still in velvet as of this morning. I know Larry sons can get huge at 2, 3, and 4,and stay typical, but none were big yearlings, that I know of. I am wondering if one IS a big yearling, what are you looking at a 2, 3, and 4?

I'll try to get one this evening. He is a perfect 6x6 with a drop(that I dont like, and dont think he will grow again), about 3 inches up from bur. And about 17 wide.

Also he needs a good name, he is Blue tag #1 right now. He is out of Larry, and Y-16(Scarlett/Scar grand-daughter). Lets have a name game. "If" he is ever collected, I'll give up a straw for a good name.

Sounds like a nice buck Jay. How about Scary :eek: Larry for a name. Take care. Allen:

Jay: Larry scored 118" and 6x6 as a yearling. Lil Larry was a 6x6 and scored about 152" and Jesse was a clean 7x7 scored about 147" (I do not of another clean 7x7 yearling) If you go to my websight you can see their pictures. ervinwhitetails.blogsot.com thanks Loyd L.Ervin

Here is a 8 year old Larry son, Brute. One of my breeders this year!!

Now that everyone has had a large laugh about the Brute, Below is pics of offspring he has had:

6177:eddie ray

Eddie Ray, 242@ 2, a Silverstorm over a Brute daughter

6178:spanky

Spanky, 310-320 @ 3, Maxneiss over a Brute daughter

6179:Maxster I

Maxster I, 285 @ 3, Geronimax over a Larry daughter

6180:pee wee

Pee Wee, 210 @ 2, Waylon over a Brute daughter, Pee Wee & Tiny are womb brothers.

6181:tiny

Tiny, 230 @ 2, Waylon over a Brute daughter.

These are not the best I have had out of this line. These bucks are all I have had out of this line over average does.

Something appears to be working????

great idea even if all you get is a new group of doe fawns to breed looks like a solid idea

just trying to think of another buck the breeding looked like a failure then boom super bucks from the does even when bred to just about anything.....

I was thinking about ....would Kingpin have been used as a breeder if not for the circumstances....

Someone out there tell the "Kingpin" story. I love to hear the behind the scenes stories like this one. Jeff

i have never seen kingpen, but you are not the first deer farmer that has put the brute in his catagory. one of the oldest pa. deer farmers told me that if it wasn,t for what he produces he would not make a 500.00 shooter. back to the brute,he was one of the first deer my wife bottle raised,he was a sickley fawn shouldnt have lived but did and the wife got attached,he has never been over 150 #s in his life,i think he got stunted as a fawn.HE IS THE WIFES PET AND IS GOING TO LIVE HERE REGUARDLESS.only bred him to a handfull of does 6 years ago and dont have but 4 does out of him.i am going to use these does hard the next few years, and breed the brute to a better class of does and hope he continues to do his magic.

Brian!!! Brian!!!: That is not fair to Jay. Jay asked for info on Larry yearling sons, and he has a great one! And besides that you were holding out on me. I only knew of Eddie Ray. But if you want to get into a peeing war with Larry Grandsons, lets see who can pee farther than "Good Jobs" width (You have to be 50 years or older to enter this peeing contest). Good job is out of a Larry daughter. And I am not saying any more about Larry Grandsons being #1,3 and 4 world record S.C.I. Typical kills. Larry also has nontypical Grandsons ( with great typical main frames) scoring 260" plus. Right Jeff. Pictures are Good Job at one and two. See more at my websight, ErvinWhitetails.Blogspot.com

Thanks Loyd L. Ervin

I cant get off work in daylight yet. He's not going to blow your socks off, but with the biggest being 152", I think he will do it. He has shed his velvet now, and I hope he didn't break anything. I never thought I would EVER raise the biggest son of anything, but when you get lucky with owning Scarlett(which is a long, good story in itself), she makes it easy.

Here is one. He was not done yet in this pic, but thats him on the right. The one on the left is closer to the camera, but not to shabby either.
