If you want to stick with main frame typicals then why do you want to "cross some trash with next years offspring"? That doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post. However your buck is very pretty and should produce deer about the same size he is at the same age. If that's what your looking for then you should be fine.

I would like to breed something with more main" frame points! Maybe with a drop or 2...but, yes I do love the long and symetrical points...I'm also new to the whole deer farming....that may be obvious!

Nick, I believe you would breed with some "trash" to get a higher score,more "up tine",stickers in the right spot not what some call "base trash" that adds to a cheap score.That would be my take on it.
Wayne, I understand that. I guess I thought he was looking for more of a clean typical look. I also like the look of a big main frame buck with just enough extra's to set him apart from the others. I really like the look of deer like Noble, Corbin, Roben, Rolex by 10 and Maxfli to name a few. Best of luck to you all with your breedings.
