I went down to Barkley Young's today to take some pictures. To say that these guys are consistent at putting BIG FRAMES on the ground year after year would be an incredible understatement! The following Hoss, Jailbird, Wildman, and King Pin sons are looking AWESOME! His pen of yearling bucks have to be one of the biggest framed "groups" of yearlings around. Congrats again guys... I have to say that I'm not even remotely surprised.

I'll save my favorite Hoss 2 year old called Hang Man for another post...

Young blood has to be the most underrated line in the country. I can say only one thing about it. Consistent!!!!

Wow, I have always heard Barkley had it going on out there. Those genetics are working big time. Awesome animals.

Here's another 2 year old out of King Pin and a Green 28 (Hoss' Sire 31" IS) doe.

I am a preserve owner. I love pretty deer and so do my hunters!! There is not a farm in the country that produces prettier deer with more consistancy than YOUNG BLOOD!! It just shows what years of line breeding for a particular look has done for the line. They have stuck to what they think a whitetail should look like. While the industry has changed to grow the highest scoring deer they could the Young's have bred for big frames, width, long main beams, tine lengh and most important CONSISTANCY!!

I have restructured my herd over the last four years with 90% of our stock straight from barkley and cole. We have took their line and outcrossed once have had great results with it .. We are excited about the future of the YOUNG BLOOD line!!

Nice wide framey deer, Congrats!!!!!

Here are some pictures of Cole's yearlings. For those who don't know, Cole is Barkley's son and has been deer farming with him since he was about 12 years old. Cole has his own farm now, but it's all the same YOUNG BLOOD!!!

These are yearlings out of Bossman (now owned by Kurt Humphrey). Bossman is a beautiful, wide, framey buck... and it looks like he's getting it done with his first group of yearlings!

Mike thanks for posting pics of these great looking deer. It is an understament to say these a great frames, they are just simply hard to beat for deer that are so young, incredible yearlings and 2 year olds.
