Thanks to all for such a great response on this wide buck subject. I even met a couple guys from this thread, And look faward to meeting a lot more of you guys. Did not expect to her of so many bucks, although I did know and have read about a few of these big bucks. But next time I guess I need to ask for all bucks wider than 35" LOL.

Keep producing these big boys, I enjoy looking at them

Thanks to all responders

I will add a pic for a very good friend of mine. Let's see if anyone can guess who the sire to this amazing buck is.

Not a bad looking 3 year old is he.

Maximus DT/Waldvogle Buddy(Dan Brands)/Dan You got it Wayne. Tell Roger you wanna see the wide one. I have had 10 bucks over 30"s inside on my farm out of Maximus DT.

See Tim I did learn something from those trips to your farm!:)

I still wish I would have bought that Little Dan doe a few years back @ that Ohio sale from you. Bought her I might have a big buck by now!!!!:D

I do enjoy you and your family coming down. You should have bought that Little Dan doe Kevin Wallace put in the Oklahoma/Mo sale last year. She was bid to 2500 and he wouldn't sell her. He is glad he didn't. I bought his 2 yr old pick at the NADeFA sale last year and had to go get a buck out of one of my Little Dan does. She had a 200"plus 2 year old typical and a 260" 24" inside son. He would have finished over 300"s if not for the terrible heat but just couldn't finish. He is an awesome looking buck. Little Dan does rock. I have one that had a 400 inch son as well. You know Wayne they just aren't worth so much because they are justr great producers and not just HYPE. Ha

Tim once you get some of those deer moved to the new farms I am building you will be able to finish them out better because the heat won't be an issue. We can start with that bred doe we talked about the other day.

Tim you and I both know the secret to that doe and what needs to be done with her. Once she gives us what we want then we move on to the next step.

you might think about using Arty. He was 28 inches inside at 4 years old. This year at 5 hhhe is 33 inches inside. Pictured at 5
