Thank you. He doesn't have a great pedigree. He is just out of a couple of good Alabama lines.

Chad where is your Big Boy?

Richie, Thanks for asking. I dont have any picks of Big Ticket or any of our older bucks yet, but i will soon. I did take a look at him the other day and he was looking bigger than ever around the base. Here is his two year old pic from last year.

Chad, Looks like Promise Land is passing it on for you guys!

Thanks Wayne. Promise Land had his first yearlings last year so we are excited to see them turn 2 and see what his yearlings look like this year. So far looking very good! One thing we noticed is that most of the yearlings and two year olds on our place that are looking big have Maxin II daughters for mothers.

Here is a pic of a yearling last year also sired by Promise Land. Cant wait to see how he grows out at age 2.

Troy, Nice bucks especially in that deep south heat & conditions you have to deal with!

Sam: Nice deer & pics, you need to give Russ some photography lessons.

Heavy Dose is a X Factor yearling out of Purple 35. I have bred Purple 35 to 4 different sires .Every son she has had has scored over 300" at 2 yrs. She has a Frequent Flyer buck fawn on the ground now--I cant wait to see him as a yearling ! When Purple 35 was a first time mother, she was so protective of her fawns that she would stand on her hind legs and beat the fire out of all the other does in her pen, to the point that she was getting to be a real problem. She was so aggressive that I offered to give her to another deer farmer that was at our place to pick up some other deer that that he had purchased. After he saw how mean she was, he said he didnt want her at his place beating up his does. Thank God he didnt load her in his trailer. Since that year, she has never given us any more trouble at at all. I guess she was just learning to be a good mother and protecting her babies. I have kept every daughter and grandaughter out of her to use in our breeding program. These pics of Heavy Dose were taken today. 10685:heavy dose.[/ATTACH]
