First Fawns Down!

Four Seasons - I wish you the best Mike in the health of all your deer and the general success in growing some giants, and hope they get big enough to put you on the ''map''! :)

I had 2 does give me 4 buck fawns yesterday out of my breeder buck, Runnin Wild. To my suprise one is a pie bald, no pied history in my breeder buck or the doe he bred. My buck does have maxbo in his pedigree and i have seen on the forums that pied has showed up in that line from time to time. I am happy with him and his 3 sibling bucks born yesterday, what a blessing from the Lord they are. I was at 3 bucks and 10 doe fawns, now after praying for some bucks, the Lord was kind and gave me 4 yesterday so now im at 7 bucks and 10 does. Very good day at my farm yesterday!!

Have to thank michael heiter for selling us a great doe..Out of bound's/Green 28(Hoss's Sire) With blue 83(Tea's grandmother). She was live bred to tea and gave us a buck fawn and a doe fawn.. We might really have to make some gates a little wider!!! Thank's for everything Mike!!!!

You're welcome Mike. They should be some great fawns for you guys!

Well, Hannah finally gave us not one, but two girls. Her buck throwing streak may be over for this year, but with 2 does out of Flees' Bucky and Hannah, who can complain!

We are just over 200 fawns now. We had one doe that was naturally bred that had quads - two pied fawns and two brown fawns. I think you could raise deer for 30 years and not have that happen again! We did get it on film so will be part of an awesome upcoming TV episode.

Thank you mark!! Ya know when i first started this thing i thought i had to go out and buy from the top farms with the top names. I learned real quick that might have been a bad move. Now i buy from the top people(In my book) that might not have the top farms and not worry so much about a name!!!

Got my first AI fawns today at 184. We usually wait 12-24hr before we start our usual procedure but should I do anything else being them some 10 days early?

Thanks

Twin Buck fawns out of Rawhide/Maxin Eagle/Hoosier(Bontrager & Sundances Mom):)

I just got some pictures of Rawhides first group of 2 year olds and they are all impressive and wide!:)

Looks like everyone is doing great. Big congrats on the Big Rig fawns. I am looking forward to seeing what he does.

I do most of my tagging late in the evening or in the dark so I don't take too many pictures but these came out good.

These are day 204 so I am hoping they are out of our backup buck (304@2 Buford/Redoy Ben). We put the backup bucks in 3 days after AI. Somehow we are running exactly 50/50 on ***. All have been healthy and all moms are doing a great job so far.

Fawns should be 931/omega/double trouble!
