There is not too much more to say. That is something else! I cant wait to see what he finnishes at.

Congrats! He holds that weight remarkably well. It doesnt seem to effect him near as much as some of the other high scoring bucks, I think it has to do with both sides being fairly equal.

Thanks - I agree it is because he is so balanced. So many of the big bucks have a huge drop on one side that throws them off. We still don't know about sawing him if we will or not - we'll see how it goes.

We are drawing semen on Ballistic October 8 - so will definitely have it in time for this fall's breeding season.

He is still in velvet but close to coming out. His antlers are heavier now and although he seems to do pretty well with them we will probably saw them very soon.

Good grief he has some serious bone.

Do you have ANY bucks out of him to show for production at all? I have a straw and want to use it but, I am trying to figure out how to best utilize his blood flow!

We just bred him for the first time last year to a small group of white and pied does with various pedigrees. I can't believe he wouldn't add tons of antler to any bloodline.

I agree with you 100% on that. Just trying to decide what happens if you stick him on a Sudden Impact, XL or even Rold gold or Fear factor or something like that? Or should I breed him into some big 200-240 class south tx typical stuff?

I see pros and cons to all of it. That's the fun part I guess.

Breed it to a big tex typical and you could get another satisfaction!!! That method worked for mark sipes and king pin! he got free agent and satisfaction out the same dad, best of both worlds!!!! huge non typical and huge typical ! just my thoughts! good luck either way!!!

We will keep posting updated pics of him. We can't imagine either!!!

We bred him to does that are out of our buck Rex, a High Roller son, and Blue Mt. Bill, which have produced some of our best bucks as well, like So Big, Blue River etc. so that combination should be unbelievable.
