Typical Antlers 2012

My first one to grow on the farm. He's not very big but he is typical. I was hoping for 200+" out of him this year, but I dont think thats going to happen....

I just received these today from Daryl Reinford. Every year he is consistantly producing big framed bucks. These are 2 3yr olds from Rolls Royce (Right) and GD Romeo (Left). I wish I had pen full of these!

Another great looking Tea yearling!!! Anybody notice a pattern here???

Yeah someone sold a lot of texas tea semen....LoL!!

That was almost funny.

To set the record straight, we sold 40 straws of Texas Tea semen in the North when he was 2. We limited the semen to 15 straws last year at 3 and we will only sell 15 straws of semen this year at 4. When you look at many other popular bucks across the industry 40 straws is a drop in the bucket!

We sold 40 when he was 2 not because we could (we could have sold a heck of a lot more!), but because in order to show a sire's production you have to get him out there and put into good does. We did just that, and now it looks like it's paying off.

His offspring are just about guaranteed to produce with the line-breeding and major frame production through his entire pedigree.

At the end of the day I just want our customers to be happy with how we do business, and that we keep our word when we say we are going to LIMIT semen sales.

I will say this with as much humility as possible... the reason you are seeing a lot of good looking Texas Tea sons is because he's line-bred perfectly and it's coming through in his offspring, not because we sold a truck load of semen!

There are more pictures of great Tea yearlings that haven't even been posted yet... they will in the near future.

I apologize if this has come off as arrogant or defensive. It's just a little annoying when comments are made with ZERO facts behind them.

Here is an update on Two Big. This is the beam shape and look I have been working towards. I just have to figure out how to get 15+ inch tines on this guy and have about ten of them in one pen:)
