Waldvogel Bucks 2012

I don't like to post pictures early, but many people asking to see them. I'll start with the bucks that I believe will go 400 or better this year. I only have 16 bucks 3 yrs old or older, so I'm proud to have 4 to go over 400 from such a small group. Hope you like them as much as I do.

He is Free Agent/XL



My best guess is he will go around 350'ish when done and be approx 28" inside. He is very balanced and symmetrical, as he was last year as a yearling. He has a lot of growing to do yet, being a late starter, so my numbers are just a conservative guess. I am hoping he pushes hard and passes that mark.

Here is BASS @ 4. He is more typical this year, which I like. He has a great look and should be a great buck for those typical lovers.

Here is a Hardcore/Bucky/Cuddles yearling that I am excited to have been able to become a part owner in. Thank you Main Frame Whitetails for offering such great buck as part of your consignment in the 2012 Midwest Select Auction! We are excited about this young buck and the genetic potential he offers! He has a ways to go to finish, but looks like he will be fantastic when done!

Thanks everyone for the calls, emails, texts and replies here on the forum. I'm glad you seem to like the boys as much as I do. If anyone would like a farm tour, please call me. It seems that's all I do from now until we cut antlers, and I really enjoy every visit! The consensus opinion is that I don't make much of a photographer as everyone that has visited so far says ALL the bucks are better in person. Guess I'll have to live with my broken dream of being a professional photographer. lol









I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ben Ferguson of LA Whitetails for purchasing my buck lot at the Midwest Select Sale this year. With the options he had available, Ben decided on half interest in 2 bucks from my farm. The 2 bucks Ben chose to co-own with me are Cowboy and Rush. The plan is for Rush to make LA Whitetails his new home, while Cowboy will stay here. As most know, Rush wasn't part of the original lot, but I decided to offer him as a choice because Ben has been such a good friend and customer. Not to mention, that's what it took to get Ben to let Cowboy stay here with me. I will miss Rush not being here, but know he will be in good hands at LA Whitetails and am proud of the partnership we will have in both great bucks. Again, thank you Ben and I look forward to a long and prosperous partnership!



P.S. If anyone sees Ben, tell him al Qaida is wanting to offer him the position of chief negotiator.

I was at Curt's farm yesterday and believe me when I say WOW!!! All the bucks looked great encluding some up and comers! Thanks once a again Curt for a great time with a great guy!!
