This is a two year old buck we have. He is growing a third antler down near his eye. We've seen third antlers before but never one here!

WEIRD!! Got a friend who had a buck lose an eye from fighting.................Next year he grew a third horn out of his missing eye hole!

Whoa! That is really odd, since there was another buck that had a similar occurrence it really makes you wonder what makes that happen!

It is probably the result of the buck stimulating that area by rubbing. They can stimulate antler growth anywhere on their skull. Why he was rubbing there is anyone's guess.

Cells from the pedicle, in scientific studies, have been place on numerous portions of the whitetails body including hips, legs etc... It is simply amazing where the can growing.

Josh is correct. I have seen photos from these studies and they are freaky.
