Lets show everyone what this industry is all about. Whitetail Exchange will host it, and take NO commission on anything sold. I think this is a cause worth supporting. Let me know what you are willing to donate and I will get it listed on the site. Let's raise a LOT of MONEY!!!

Todd, Thank you so much. We have some semen in storage for Eclipse and Scout that we obviously will no longer have any use for. I guess we would be donating to our own cause, but hope you know how much we appreciate everyone's support. I will check our inventory at Hawkeye Breeders and get back to you.

In light of all the negativity in our lives, we have made many friends, some of which I have never met in person. Thank you, thank you, thank you . . . .

I am in!

As my friend Michael says, how could you NOT be in. This is a no brainer and should be the largest fund raising event ever!

Todd, when will this auction be held? May I suggest that all non benefit auctions be put on hold during the benefit auction to help direct more money to where the industry truly needs it. This legal fight and any future legal fights stemming from this battle are what will determine the future of the industry.

Todd, I'm in. Also I talked to Dale Hegeland this morning and he said count him in.

Dale had to drive to Des Moines this morning, he is being "deposed" for the Brakke case by the Iowa DNR.

Thanks for doing this Todd. We ALL need Brakkes to win this one !!!!!!

Im looking at Wednesday September 4th. This will allow us plenty of time to get some really good consignments listed and get them a lot of exposure. I guess people can publicly list on this thread what they want to donate, or they can email it to me. A third option is that someone can set up their own auction under the "Brakke's Benefit Auction" category. I will get the new category set up this morning and work on some ways to get the word out to the masses.

Todd,

Sounds like a fine idea! Thank you for your initiative!

It's amazing what can be accomplished when good folks work together!

Thanks again!

Todd, I'm in too! I'll donate an awesome breedable 2 year old Rolling Timber doe! I'll sen you the info when I get home.

Already getting lots of calls on this. Have heard of animals, semen, vacation stays etc that will be donated. Lets think outside the box with this auction. We dont want this to be just another semen auction (although if you have semen, we would love to have it too). Fishing trips, golf trips, free stays at your lodge, AI work, trinkets, equipment etc. This is a cause that can change our industry!

I will give a custom hard horn deer mount.

You supply the horns and I will supply everything else.

Here are a couple of pic's of a (one of a kind I did for myself ).

I will work with anyone to make it a one of a kind.

Something you will be proud to show off.

Awesome idea.....I might be getting out of the deer but I think I can find something to donate to this great cause.......awesome idea Todd! And worth it as this case with the Brakke's is pivotal for this Industry with out a doubt!! I hope everyone realizes it!

I will be thinking of something to donate, although CWD rules are tight in my area of PA for moving live animals into other states, I am sure there is something I can think up to donate. If I can't think of anything, I guess I could always donate some cash.

That's quite a gesture considering you are getting out of the industry. Thank you!
