This is a great ideal Todd. We would like to donate a straw of our Rolls Royce 2 yr old for this important cause. I will email you the info. Thanks

I will have pic's next week after my visit. I guess you could go down on farm and ranch and get a little taste of the deer this place makes. Eric does a great job for Jim..A smooooth running team!

This fundraiser should match up with the likes of our yearly NADEFA fundraiser. This one case will be just as important as the yearly duties done by NADEFA.

Next donation is 2 day and one night stay at X Factor Whitetails. ALL INCLUSIVE!!!

The donations so far a great, but we need a HUGE push from our industry for this! The Brakke's are paving the way for our entire industry with absolutely nothing for them to gain personally.

We will add a SECOND farm credit from WillPenn Whitetails in the amount of 3,000. Please note that this credit cannot be used for any deals currently underway, nor for any semen from Texas Tea for 2013 as we are sold out. However, you can use the farm credit towards Texas Tea semen for 2014 or any other does or fawns that we have for sale in the future.

It's time for everyone to seriously STEP UP!!!

I'm in ! I don't have much to donate being a small low key type deer farmer but I can cetainly bid and buy something to help out !

This is very true of many deer farmers. You can only give what you can afford to give and still run your farm (business).

I came up with a pretty good idea for this auction that should allow everyone to help this cause. I am selling donations or $25, $50, $100, $250 and $500. They are dutch auctions with plenty available. Some people would rather just give money, so i figured this would cover it for those people.

When this auction is all over, we will come up with a grand total and publish it. 100% of all of these sales will be going directly to the Brakke's.

Ya know i was thinking today that with all of our auctions coming up and our busy season upon us maybe we could talk to all the auction owners and have them put something in the auction books that say like 1 or 2 percent of every animal sold will go to Iowa and Rhonda and Tom. Maybe even more if all farmers agree! Dont know why they would not!!!!

Kinda like a beef charge they do when they sell cattle! I dont know...Just a thought i guess!!

We need to be careful how this money is handled. The purpose is to cover or help cover the legal expenses for the Brakkes. I am all in favor but we should be careful how the money is transferred so that we do not cause the Brakkes a tax problem. This money should be paid directly to the legal expenses with with the Brakkes approval on which bills to pay. Please have Scott talk to his tax person as to the best way to set this up before any money is transferred.
