I would like to introduce my YEARLING buck out of Mountain Ridge Whitetail's Big Heavy and my doe, Brigid. Let me start by saying I know I’m biased, but I LOVE his look. I can’t quite put my finger on it though. I think it may be how his rack forms a circle when it’s viewed from the front. He reminds me a little of XWL Tombstone as a yearling. He is still growing pretty hard and makes changes on a daily basis. I can’t wait to see how he finishes and what he morphs into a 2 YOA.

I will continue to posts pics of his progress every week or so.

If you don’t’ know much about Paden Creek Whitetails LLC, I can tell you I am dedicated to doing things the right way, with no shortcuts. I started small (just Brigid as a fawn) and have grown little by little the last few years. I researched the industry for years before jumping in and took the advice of many deer farmers by starting with good genetics right from the start.

Thanks guys. Richard, I've noticed you have quite a bit or MRW genetics in your herd.

Damn nice buck. Yes for the last few years I have bred with their genetics. .well worth it..I have bigger and better deer now than ever..

Thanks Tyler. We should start a thread for our pups. Just got my AKC paperwork the other day. I'm hoping if both yours and mine turn out to be good deer guardians, they can have a date.

I cut Red 3's antlers the other day and removed the velvet. He scored close to 200".

Here's a few more pics. I'm not drawing semen this year but please keep him in mind for next year. You have Rigid, the sire to world record Big Rig, combined with a pure Flees Sire, Big Heavy. Best of all you have Blazer in the mix too.

Please feel free to stop and talk deer at the upcoming PA Sale (I'll be wearing the Paden Creek Whitetails Sweatshirt). Thanks for looking. Feel free to think of a name for Red 3 as well.

I just looked at the flyer for the PA Sale posted on another thread and it looks like Red 3's sire, Big Heavy, will be sold. This will be a good opportunity for someone... hmm maybe I should buy him. I think it's lot 32.
