Hey idk if anyone has ever seen this before, but my 3yr old buck has developed this lump right behind his left eye. He is tame enough that i have breifly touched it and it doesnt seem rock solid. My thoughts are that is might me a popped blood vessel or something from running into a stick or something. idk what to do if anything. Other than that he acts normal, healthy and is growing antler. What would you guys do?

I had a doe and a buck get lumps like that this year. The doe's popped on its own after a week, hers was under her jaw. The buck just got one a few days ago, I might let it go as long as it's not getting bigger, since the does popped after a week or two.

Looks like Fuzo to me Jared

That would be my first guess as well Wayne.

Sorry but I'm not sure what fuzz is. What should I do about it or will it just pop? Or should I dart him and try to poke it with a needle and make it drain?

Wayne is referring to Fuso-bacterium ( most likely necrophorum). If he was mine I would do one of two things. 1) just keep an eye on his health generally and wait for it to go away (maybe pop) or 2) just dart him with antibiotic. Many times these just get absorbed back into the body... I have on occasion seen where they can spread into nasal passages and upper and lower pallet areas causing severe infection and damage.
