I have several with antlers still on, as well as several already growing and looking about like Ryan's wild cardiac. It's funny how they vary so much in when they start. Still don't feel like spring to me quite yet, the cool weather is hanging around still, supposed to be in the 20's and 30's here all next week.

A couple of our two year olds on 3/18. Has to be the earliest growth that we've had17942:photo17941:3-18-14-1

Elamwoods we are envious of your antler growth and weather. We still have antlers on and woke up to 12 BELOW zero this morning with still 2 feet of snow on the ground and more coming for tonite. The ice on the lakes is 36 inches thick  so spring is nowhere in the near future.

remember the year without a summer LOL hope it warms up for you guys its allready in the 80s here in texas :D  most of mine have shed but still a few with antlers T&S

There is hope as I think spring is in the air . We woke up to a warm spell this morning at 2 below .

Deer whisperer, just when I think it's cool here, I often get reminded it can always be worse, lol. We had 16 degrees the last few mornings, and I was bummed about that, but I'll take this any day over your 2 below, haha, you can keep that weather to yourself.

I'm thinking of having the wife start knitting some fawn sweaters and botties . At 10 pm tonite the temp is 2 above so for sure it will be below zero in the morning. They just drilled a hole in the ice on the bay in St.Ignace on lake Huron and it was 48 inches thick. all we can do is THINK SPRING and wait.

Well last nites temp fell to 8 below this morning with a warm up coming with sleet and 6 inches of snow for Thursday. Over 32 for the following week but a long way to go.

He's a BIG boy!

Heres a picture of unleashed he shed very late but has really started to put it on this week. I am very happy so far hopefully he puts on some of the width of his daddy
