This is one of my coming two year olds. It has nice looking bases. What do think? He is a Rais'n Cain/ Gladiator.

Isn't that a riot. Our past breeder, CAPT MARVEL, had 9-7/8" bases and this 3 yr old makes him look like a puppy.
Here's a better shot of HEAVY METAL. This 3 yr old is sired by BIGHEAVY - who is a womb-brother of my new buck, SUNSTROKE. HEAVY METAL is linebred on a BJ/RDM Goliath womb-sister son with Flees Heavy over Bambi as anchor.

I have been anxiously waiting for posts on the antler thread... this time last year there were already 75 posts compared to just 28. Is the new deerforum to blame or just no bucks out there?? Come on fellas (and ladies)....get to posting some pictures!!
If you need help with the new system of posting pictures...make sure you hit <more reply options which will lead you to a way to attach files (look for the paperclip and button <choose file below the typing text area (I've not been able to post a picture from the original "reply to this topic" section...but below it look for the button "more reply options"). If you want to post from a site like flickr.com...upload your pictures on flickr.com and click <share while in flickr and grab the BBCode (medium-sized) and then paste the code here. I've not used the gallery yet. Looks like Roger, Henry and Jerrilee are the only ones to post to the gallery.

Ours are behind compared to last year because of this crazy weather. One of our breeders just shed his second nob 10 days ago. He always starts late and finishes late. Just not a lot to show yet.

Jim, If you keep posting pics of bucks looking like that, I'm gonna be embarrassed to show mine!!!!!! Just Kidding, Mine are all only about 3-4 inches so far, not much to show. If I had one like yours, I'd post plenty of pics, congratulations!

Jim, I agree not much going on yet on this page...............Rawhide is pushing his G-2 s but I'm one of those fellas that has not figured posting out yet and Windows 8 doesn't seem to be real friendly to cumpooter dummie like me!! LOL

I love looking at other bucks growing. I am the type of guy, that every time I want to take pics of my bucks, I talk myself into waiting one more week. I almost always say to myself, " if I wait just one more week they'll look even better" then before you know it summers half over and I still haven't taken a pic. Oh well, I am glad other people actually post pics, it gives me something to admire.
