This is Boo he is a three year old Updraft son. Last year he scored 230 when we cut him due to a antler infection. The first pic is from last year. The other two were from yesterday.

Great buck Troy congrats! Updraft sure had a ton of big two year olds last year. I have only seen a couple of them this year as I just haven't stayed in touch with folks. I have two really nice sons also from Updraft. I just choose not to post pics. I also have noticed Updraft daughters are doing really well.

This is a 2 year old We have at Wild West Whitetails

He is High Noon over Allstar

I have heard of a lot of really nice Updraft offspring down here in Alabama alone. If Boo produces anything close to Updraft I will be ecstatic. I have noticed that all of Boo's daughters are my biggest and calmest does. I can't wait to see what comes out of them when I cross them with my Bam Bam and Hightower sons.

We feel like he is 40" inside his main beams. He has long fliers coming out the back that are not visible. Score is becoming less important each yr but we estimate him to finish 530-600"

Sundragon looks incredible, I really love the width he's showing. Congrats on a special deer, I hope he stays healthy and is around for years to come!

Sundragon is looking incredible, I can only imagine how he looks in person, Thanks for posting the pic, Mike

Yes big bodies and calm personalities are the norm out of him. I suspect you will be very happy. Often deer are hyped up and even though bred to tons of does they don't really produce much in the long run. That isn't the case with Updraft. In fact Sudden Expkosion goes back to the same doe as Updraft. (Y-0289) and he also seems to produce well. It is no coincidence I assure you. Good luck!

So what is the antler characteristic that Updraft is throwing consistently? I have a straw of Updraft but I'm afraid to use it because of how narrow he was... He has width in his genetics... Downdraft must have gotten all the width genetics...

Thank you so much, Dennis, Mike, Matt and others.  It is truly been a wonderful experience having the deer and just humbled by the kind words.  I found a picture of him from 2013 that was 1 day different to compare 2013 to this year.  Thank you again for all the support and well-wishes.  I love looking at all the postings and have seen some impressive deer this year!  Congrats and look forward to seeing more pictures.

Sun Dragon as of July 25.  Last picture was taken July 8 so you should see a huge jump.

Ryan my advice is don't use it. In fact maybe you should give it to me. I make do selling his two year old sons scoring 200" to over 300". Seriously, DONT use it !!!

Let the pics do the talking. Kind of hard to dis what sits in front of you..

Ryan, If you're trying to grow a buck and there was a 2 straws in front of you and you can have one to breed with. Do you choose Sundragon or Updraft? Now I dont want to take away from updraft! A great buck!!

Mike i can tell you i saw him last year and he is just a sight to behold but i will also say that he would look much much bigger on just about any other farm! I had the pleasure of feeding that deer a couple days in a row and its hard to really grasp him when he walks up to the feed with 3 or 4 other 400-500 inch bucks that Jim raises. Just unreal standing next to that much body and antler!
