Dude is looking great, you may want to do something with that brace wire though. Its got antler damage written all over it. I stapled a small section of fence up to cover mine.

Dude kinda resembles the texas buck called Touchdown he is owned by High Roller Whitetails and is a Dr. D son.

He only resembles the picture. Hold their horns side by side. Lol
 
And High Roller Whitetails only used him to breed pasture does. Because thats what sold to the hunters. And I think they are still using his semen for that purpose

Usually when a typical bucks shows longer brows than the year before the rest of their g-tines follow suit. Dude's brows appear several inches longer to me. If the rest of his typical frame follows this pattern he will have several tines north of 20". His left brow needs a little shot of Viagra Lol. I like the matching mule deer forks on both sides. I can't wait to see this rack when it's finished. I never thought I would ever see a typical frame of Dude's size where everything has that much mass. If a buck grew this much tine length, beam length, and spread I would have thought it would likely be a more spindly rack. I can't believe Dude's entire rack is so thick this year. Man, it would be fun to watch "Dude" finish growing his tine length in my pen!
 
I hope after I breed Dude this fall I will have a few sons growing like that! Lol

Tare has a beautiful traditional whitetail look himself as well. I like the shape of his rack. They both finish out their points and are very sharp!

I would like to Thank the Iowa Whitetail Deer Association for their Awesome Hospitlality at their annual banquet this past weekend.

Dude brought home 1st place Mature Typical & Best of Show, his son Tare one 1st place Mature Non Typical.
