Nearing completion of our clean-up......all the wood will be burned and metal taken for recycling.
So,So stupid..You watch, this will all be for not if the important people start saying they will not ship grains because of CWD. You will see some massive back peddling by the states DNR and such and they will be saying that CWD is no big deal any longer. You know, Kinda like the state of Iowa already did!!!!!!

So true....In fact, as reported in the Rapid City Journal dated February 25, 2013, apparently CWD is not such a big deal for wildlife as they removed the fence and released 500 exposed animals from Wind Cave National Park after 15 years of CWD exposure. Of course the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation funded the two helicopters to assist in this release. Since 1998, 45 animals tested positive of the 140 samples collected. Was this made possible because the CWD Rule dated 2012 exempted wildlife from any CWD monitoring requirements? Oh I know, Custer State Park area is considered an endemic zone, but in reality, should it now be classified as a CWD hot zone?
Bear in mind, this release came out just one month following our depopulation of approximately 225 animals from our hunting preserve in Davis County in January of 2013. Of the 225 animals tested, 2 animals were found positive. Now we are having to fight to have our property rights restored, as the DNR is requesting a five to ten year quarantine on the property for less than 1% infection rate. Of course, we are required to maintain the property taxes, mortgage payments, maintenance of the buildings and fences during this quarantine period. In Iowa, air conditioning is almost required during summer to avoid mold and mildew damage and in the winter you must have heat.
Just 10 miles from Wind Cave National Park, they are advertising alfalfa hay for sale:

Set them free. Question: Does mother nature take care of the problem over time or was the herd highly infected at the time of release? Another release is expected in the future.

We on the other hand, were quarantined for two years and did what we felt to be responsible and, of course, economical and stopped breeding our animals. You deer farmers undestand how much it costs to feed these animals. Would hate to guess what would have happened to us if we had handled our initially overpopulated breed facility like that of Wind Cave.

So whats happens to the equipment that is being used to tear down and push up everything?
We will do the best we can to clean and disinfect all machinery. Very thankful to have the help of friends, family, and of course our farm family boys.

Oh yea , It sucks to see that, I would talk to your lawyer and see about slander and deffimation of character to business. That old pic is used by so many animal rights groups and qdma bunch to promote their single track agenda. So you see the sheep deal I told you about is no joke. And yes You don't hear these so called conservation groups or state wildlife agencies talking any about this at all. Tracing down all the old reports from mexico north and east is taking time but I have to be accurate when I release the final data. In addition to every dead animal left on open range it either decomposes at the site and or parts dragged away by predators and buzzards to be left in another area. Look at this over a 100 year period and you can see where its going. Remember years ago the sheep and cattle farmer wars we had out west and ranchers not wanting the sheep herders making contact with their cattle for fear of disease and also grazing rights was a part of it but disease was a very strong addressed issue in the mid 1800s. Any input from others on here will be very much helpful and if you know of any old sheep and scrapie outbreaks in your state at any time please let me know. On a outside note the I got it on good concormation Questionable Deer Management Bunch is gonna get a big surprise here very shortly.
