So I saw this attached pic on Facebook and it gave me a chuckle. I just had to share it on the forums. But I couldn't find where the joke thread is so I just said heck with it and put it on this thread I had started previously. Hope some see the humor of it! 😄

I added some video shot last night if anyone cares to take a look at it. Just click on the Facebook link in the previous post above. Thank you!

He has some mass roger. In my opinion, I would sacrifice some width and have a good heavy racked deer. Nice buck

Thank you for looking and for the kind words.

I agree red, I would take mass like that any day, even if it means I'd have to lose a few inches of width. Beautiful deer Rodger.

Thank you Antlershed.

We always want the complete package you know. I do suspect next year the width comes back again. Sometimes width comes with a sacrifice of mass and or tine length. His daddy is nice and wide this year.

Thank you again guys! It is much appreciated!

So I have been asked by a couple of people about semen from Ruben. I do not have any collected as of now, however I think I will be collecting him this year.

I am interested in two things.

1. Who would like some?

2. Would you use it this fall or defer use until another year?

I ask this to see how much interest there is in him, and if I should collect before this breeding season, or do it afterwards to obtain the very best quality semen.

As far as price goes, I have given this a lot of thought and decided that in today's market few are looking to add does to their programs. They are instead looking for bucks and maybe a doe or two for the program. Therefore price should be set accordingly so as to be profitable to the buyers. So I will set the price at $500 per straw. I will also have a buy 4 get 1 free offer. These prices will stand until I am either sold out of all but 20 straws of what I get from the collection, or until June 1st 2016.

I want to ensure I have at least 20 straws for my own farm should he die before giving me another collection.

Then in late summer of 2016 I will determine price again based on the look and score AND the current markets at that time.

Last year Ruben was 4 buck to 1 doe fawn. And this year he was 8 bucks to 1 doe fawn. All of course from live breedings.

I prefer emails with any questions or purchases regarding this offer.

Thank you all for looking!
