Say It ain't So Shadow is getting ridiculous. The yardstick tells the story!

What a frame on a yearling. 26" mainbeams and 31" wide.

That is one big, tame deer, it must have the stress level of Ghandi, nothing else to do but eat and grow.

By now I would think Billy would have special yard sticks made up that say "Say it ain't so Shadow" on them, and be highlighted at both ends where his width matches up.

For that little marketing idea you can send me one straw of semen from him:)

Can we get a pick with his head up please?

I'm with Roger I would like to see a picture of him with his head up. He is a huge deer and I think it would be am impressive photo. Thanks

Honeybrook variety store should pay you something for that photo! Great looking yardstick! Did you notice there was a deer under the yardstick? Just funnin.....GREAT DEER!

how about a picture without using a wide angle lens too! hard to guess a score with out normal picture.

Hey Fred here are some more pictures without the macro lense, it was used to help you read the ruler. It is really hard to make a yearling buck that is 31" outside look much smaller, but here are some different angles. This yearling is a little bit like Jeckyl and Maxbo XL last year, with his had hanging he is hard to photograph with that much weight. Hope these pictures will help you in your efforts to score this yearling. Although Billy is not to good with computers and posting on deerfarmer he asked that you give him a call if you have any more problems with this buck. As in years past Billy has all of his breeder buck officially scored , and also unofficial scorers are always welcome to score them too. They are what they are. If Say It Ain't So Shadow will add inches like the three bucks that left Amos's farm last year his head may be hanging lower next year when he is located at S&S Whitetail Galore.

PS Good luck in the scoring contest Fred!

I believe the deer industry as a whole sees we can grow giant early maturing deer . Maybe we should be concentrating on growing bigger bodies to support this abnormality called bone! I personally like big bodies, you know that is a trait with certain bloodlines. What do you think? Oh by the way " Say It Aint So Shadow"is a freak nasty!!!!!!! Congratulations to Amos

Roger,

I know for a fact the marketing idea is underway and in progress. You have to take up the straw with Mr. Sage! I bet he is going to do something for you.

It always amazes me how when people get jealous of a good deer or they don't have big deer that people will try and imply the photo is not real "how about a picture without using a wide angle lens too!" . Billy and Mitzi Sage have integrity and honesty and would never fabricate a picture or do anything unethical. End of Story. Congrats Billy and Mitzi Sage and Amos Kaufmann and I appreciate the contest you are running to give us a chance at free semen. Monster Yearling

If you are talking to me I am not jealous! It is clear that a different lens was used as admitted by Eric. Just wanted to see a normal picture. Sorry you all got your pants in a bunch. not intended
