2 week old baby fawn HELP!

I have a new baby fawn.  She is 2 weeks old last Friday.  She was doing great on Land O Lakes milk replacer and bit of grass in the yard.  She is drinking water on her own.  Her poop went from mustard and sticky to light brown mixed with tiny poop pellets.  But after 1 movement of pellets it changed gradually to brown rust color and more and more runny.  This morning I fed her with a little less powder to more water and a couple slices of green grapes and a pinch of watermelon.  10 seconds after she ate the fruit, she let out a little squeak (cry) and bowed up her back.  I got the baby wipes to help her poop and it was runny again.


I am concerned!  She runs and plays in the back yard in small intervals, but mostly likes to lay in her spot in my office and just look out the window.


The vet suggested a little plain yogart.


What are your thoughts?

I just put 2 table spoons of organic yogart in her bottle.  This morning was the first time I gave her fruit so I will not do that again.  Thanks for the advice. I REALLY appreciate it.  I love this little girl so much.


So, another question???????


When should I take her out with the other deer?  I let her go out side while we fed the deer last week and my very favorite doe smelled her, licked her and loved on her.  She began leading her away and I was so excited that she might adopt her.  But very shortly after they were walking my doe (Lucy) kicked the fawn (Charlie) and scared her so much she will immediately run inside if she sees another deer.


The vet said give her some time and let her get a little bigger and eating on her own and then begin the introductions.


What are your thoughts?  I am so new to this but have found such a respect and admiration for these animals, I look forward to seeing them every day and they have become a part of my family.

Will a fawn eat plants that are bad for them?


 


The only thing I can think of that she has done differently is eat a little purple flower that grows naturally in my yard.  She LOVES LOVES these little purple flowers.


 


Her last movement was much better this afternoon so the yogart helped.  I will continue this for a couple days and see how it goes.  But if you guys think I should kill the flowers, I will for sure.


 


I am so happy I found this forum.  I happen to buy a house in the middle of San Antonio, Texas that is surrounded by highways.  Its a honey hole.  You have no idea you are in the city.  Cannot hear the traffic or anything.  Feels like a ranch, but.......that means the 100 or so deer in this herd are land locked in.  They have been for years.  They are very domesticated and sweet.  Many of us leave our yards to nature so there are many native grasses and flowers to eat.  I just hope they are all safe!
