He started acting lethargic 4 days ago and ears drooped so I hit him with 2cc of draxxin. He showed improvement but now stays humped up and don't want to walk and has sores around his mouth. Any suggestions plz?

How is his breathing? 1.5 of banamine (Flunixin) will help make him feel better but won't cure the problem. may want to try giving him 3cc of excede

Thanks snowman. The banamine has seem to help his breathing seems normal but he can't run and acts like he is stiff in his back legs

I would hit him with the draxxin again since he did improve.  Any loose stool? Might be a weed he ate causing the sores in his mouth.  You see it with EHD but I would think it is awful early to see it where you are at.

Jerrilee thanks. His stool is normal. I'm waiting on my vet now. What confuses me is he keeps his hind quarters tucked and back arched. Not sure if it's from pain or what

From my experience, that posture is just an outward signof some type of illness.  Usually their hair will be bristled up a little along with the arched back and stiff legs.  I sometimes dart with Noromycin 300 but I know most guys use the others already mentioned.

I give him 3cc of draxxin and 4cc of banamine early this morning and hes improved some but I'm still optimistic. Vet thinks it's something he may have eaten with onset of infection in face and neck. Time will tell! Thanks to those who responded
