That is interesting...we have some farmers an hour south of here that have a soybean byproduct with similar results. But I don't think the cleanup should be priority...I looked into submitting idea/ideas to the oil spill stoppage. Turns out that they've had over 20,000 ideas submitted from across the globe, and so far have narrowed them down to less than 100 plausible ideas.
But after talking to an uncle of mine who is a retired engineer for Arco...he said there was no way to know how big the oil mass was below the floor of the ocean, and it could quite possibly have enough to spill for the next 10 years. 10 years?! We've already seen the aftermath of what a couple months look like. Can you imagine even 6 more months? Just food for thought...
