Anyone know of an AI class that can be attended soon? Normally, there is one in Stillwater, OK in May and again in late September (goats). They are not having one at SCI, that I have been told. I have done some of my own AI'ng with some success, visited farms where I witnessed their doing the AI...but I want one more class before the fall arrives. If anyone knows of something, let me know, please.

Check out the above link for class. Do not know anything about them or the class. I also want to attend a class but was hoping to find one in the south east.

Karl,

Apple Creek is only offering one on one training using the inseninator breeding tool. We used this to breed last year (2009). I hope our results will prove successful. The risk of lap AI to the doe is more than I can accept. If you or any one would like to visit and try out inseminator on live deer you are welcome during our fall breeding 2010. Their is no cost but you may have to help cook the brats and burgers after breeding.

All interested are welcome,

Scott

If you are interested in a visit please contact Dawn Nelson (920-855-6713)

Scott, have you done any research on how to make the Insemenator into a multiple-use item?

Phillip

Phillip,

Last year we did wash and clean the Insemenator Make sure to dry tubes with fans. We also used with fresh semen. Semen extender fluid is readily available I could also share. We show how to split straws Insemenator.

"The risk of lap AI to the doe is more than I can accept." Is your Quote!

Scott, you are a joke. This is why you can't get any respect in this industry. Maybe you should tell every one about the doe you killed this fall trying to pull embryo's on her. I believe she was the doe you purchased for $150,000. And you say that "The risk of lap AI to the doe is more than you can accept." I think you talk out of both sides of your mouth. You are a fraud and a liar, but I suppose you are now going to tell everyone that you never tried pulling embryo's on that girl. You try to sell everyone one on your ideas like the Inseminator so you can make a $$$ and tell them that it is a more ethical and humane, and then behind closed doors you are trying to get ahead of everyone else by pulling embryo's. That's what I call an industry Stuart if I've ever seen one! Way to go. You are someone I feel like doing business with, NOT!

Hey Homer when are you gonna be a man and post your real name. If you have something to say and you want people to listen you need to man up first. Its easy to talk crap when your being a coward this just shows what kind of man you really are or should i say what kind of child you look like

Maybe what Scott was saying is that he tried things in the past that he regrets doing for one reason or other and that he feels it is much safer to ai servicaly than to lap. He learned this from his own experiance evidentaly and is just telling others how he feels. Pesonaly i no of others who have lap ai'd and said they would never put their deer threw it again. Besides if you don't like someones product then don't by it. Sounds to me like you have some real jeoulisy issues.

Well put virgil,

It won't be long and Homer is going to have to post his name or be kicked out.

Georgedeer100,

Some of your information is correct I did test test embryo transfer this past year and after two does died I cancelled the test and told my team at Apple Creek this was not worth proceeding any further. Yes trying to advance genetics through embryo transfer was tested and we failed. I was successful with transfers in horses for years but not in deer and it does not look like it will be part of our future. Two people asked me (if I tested transfers) they were Eric Pinkston and Billy Sage I was open and told them the truth and did not fault any one but myself for the loss. If you would like to know just ask and see how open I am. As for Inseminator we have been using this for two years to breed most of our does while testing lap AI and french method in small ways and I still hope the Inseminator works for through our eyes we become a better steward.

P.S. I hope to make a $Buck$ of the Inseminator (thats why we developed promoted and why we are in business).

Peace georgedeer100

I posted the same things about old Homer in the other thread he created before i saw your thread Virgil......I agree Georgedeer100 holds no credit with me till he posts with his name!!!!

Good grief, I didn't know that having one's name on his posts was that important! I set up my account in such a hurry I don't even remember seeing the opportunity. Anyway, I don't know Scott from Applecreek or this George guy, but I'd have to say to Scott: you sure handled that response very well-probably better than I would have...

Antler that's just it you could not have did any different than scott did because you would not know who you are addressing. You would just be pi..ing up a tree!!But not for long!!
