Albino Gladiator 2 fawns

the womb sister to the above was also AI'd to gladiator 2. She had a white buck fawn and a normal colored doe fawn this morning. Is this a gene that can be passed to the off spring? They all have blue eyes!

The blue eyes are normal with newborn fawns, if you truly have albino fawns the eye color would be pink and white. More commonly occurring, and what you more than likely have on your farm is a pair of white fawns. I've only ever seen a handful of true albino deer that have white or pink hooves, eyes, and fur. For those of you who have more knowledge on genetics etc. please chime in, I am not 100% positive about this information as its been a few years since I have taken genetics classes. Below are pictures of a true albino buck, notice its very pink eyes, ears, and nose. Then look at the picture of the doe, you can clearly notice the difference.

It helps if you attach images, sorry about that.

Not right now. I think I will see if I can produce white fawns with strong Texas genetics. These have the best genetics on my farm. They are 3/4 Texas, 1/8 southern, 1/8 northern. There mother is producing good stuff. I have had several inquiries about buying these fawns. People must like it.
