This isn't deer health and wellness but mine lol. I SWEAR i think i'm allergic to my deer. I thought it was pollens cuz i do have allergies but i was wrestling a buck yearling yesterday and was covered in hair and and a lil light bulb went off after i started sneezing, wheezing, and digging my eyeballs out of my head

Yep! I have a friend that is the same way, his face swells up and his eyes look like there going to pop out of his head! Charlie.

Sorry to hear this Rick....you are probably right about being allergic to the deer....my niece can't get anywhere near mine or she has a terrible allergic reaction. I hope it works out for you!

My daughter is also allergic to deer. She has to take medicine before she goes to my dads deer farm.

As some of you already know I have met a great new lady and she has become a major part of my life. She has 3 daughters, 9, 7 and 5. The 7 year old has been to the new farm I built, however recently while on a visit her eye started hurting and swelled up really bad. She looked like something out of a horror film  She now has eye drops that have done wonders for her. They are all great kids, however Kierra is really cool. She seems very interested in learning about the outdoors, shooting, hunting and much more. I was really bummed when it looked like she might not be able to do much around deer, but I am hopeful the eye drops will fix that issue. The eye drops she is using is called Naphcon-A. It used to be a prescription drug however is now over the counter. Maybe this will be of help to some of you. No one should be deprived of being around whitetails. They ROCK!

I will NEVER give up being around these amazing, beautiful animals!!! I'll take whatever i have to take to help me. Roger, I'll check out those eye drops. I just use Visine A right now which helps with itchy eyes. All i know is i am miserable right now. My wife thought i was nuts when i told her i thought i was allergic to my babies. But after the other day i knew i was. Guess i better buy stock in an allergy company LOL

It is amazing how many folks are allergic to deer. The doctor the other day said deer hair is similar to horse hair and can have the same allergic effects. I bet I can think of a dozen folks who are allergic to horse and deer hair. And how many more are there that I don't know about yet??? Crazy stuff

I am very allergic to horses, and for many years of hunting I would break out in hives when handling a harvested whitetail. I'm happy to say that any allergy I had to deer is now gone and has been for years. I guess being exposed to them everyday has taken care of my allergic response.

Now I just get an allergic response every antler growing season!!!

I have just the solution for that cat problem!!! But I think I should leave that one alone! Ha!

Things with long tails don't fit into my program !! But I do have a few cats, we had a talk and if they do there job there safe! So far so good...... Charlie.
