do you think it would be ethical for someone's lot to be a doe fawn out of a handful of choice does, but the kicker is those choice does are 2013 fawns?  it does not say this in the auction description.

I'm not sure I understand the timing of events.

I'm assuming the auction is in the near future? but when would the doe fawns be born? The 2013 choice does won't be 1 yr old 'till May/June 2014. Would the choice then be for fawns born May/June 2015? This is not real clear to me.

What is the exact wording of the listing?

Well if the 2013 doe, does not fawn money will be refunded... If you feel comfortable that the 2013 doe fawn will fawn in the spring I say go for it....

not wanting to buy but just asking ethically what you think.

There are maybe a handful of people that would ever know that the  bred does  listed are 2013 doe fawns.  The seller is NOT disclosing this fact.

This doesn't seem ethically correct to me. I haven't seen anyone advertise fawn out of this years bred fawns.  I think this information should be disclosed. I think that not disclosing this info puts the buyer at an unfair disadvantage because they don't have all the information. The buyer also has a greater chance that the fawn could be born later in the year, or no at all.                  ......If all the info was disclosed, I don't see a problem.

I believe this is information that should be disclosed in the auction listing.  I for one beleive that fawns are not ment to have fawns therefore if it were disclosed as such I would not be interested in the lot.  Versus if it were  Mature does being bred. Some may view it as an attempt to mislead a potential buyer.   Just my opinion as always.
