Beware of Deer survey poser

They announced at the auction this weekend that a few farmers in Indiana have had someone come to their farm saying that they were conducting a deer survey.

When the wife of one farmer directed the person to talk to her husband who was in the barn, He got in his car and left. Not really sure what its all about, but you might want to be a little cautious if they come your way.

I got this E-mail last friday and replied to it with my phone #. I havn't heard back from the person yet and am starting to think that it could be connected.

At the auction they had stated that a few people had got some suspicious phone calls from someone asking questions and stating that they knew other deer farmers. Just wondering if anyone else had got an e-mail similar to this.



Hi, I found your email on the Indiana Deer Farms website. I was

wondering if you had tours of the farm. My daughters are getting into

deer hunting, and I have a friend who is a deer farmer in OK. I

thought it would be a great idea to get the kids to see some deer

close up and learn something as well. If you have tours or something

interesting for the kids to check out can you please let me know the

cost and what you have going on? We are located a hour south of South

Bend in a town called North Judson. Where are you located at in

relation to that? I have never heard of the city you are in. Thanks
