Bought more land and finally finished the 2 miles of fence.

Finally finished and the land is clear of all deer (I think) starting to move forward on my plans for better deer and it now I am not sure which direction to go. I know I want large whitetail but they don't have to be the latest greatest 300" out there. I would be happy to see things in the 160's and up over time. Being in Texas it seems I'm limited in state to who I can buy from and it appears that all the sellers know this. I am getting told numbers from all over the map for bred does and I just don't have enough knowledge to make a correct decision. Are there prices in Texas that much higher than other states because it's closed? Can anyone give me an idea of what's fair these days?

Appreciate any help I can get.

I wouldn't have the slightest idea being that I am from pa. I know that we have a handful of Texas breeders on the forums and they will soon see your thread and they can give you an idea. I just wanted to say good luck, stick with your goals and have fun with it.
