Buckeye Fall Breeder Auction Catalg now online

One comment I would like to make, and this goes for ALL on-line auctions I have ever seen.

It is frustrating to hear the auctioneers talking about "...the buck up there on the screen..." but when watching on-line we don't see the buck up there on the screen.

Often times the consignments have to be in at a time of the year when antlers are stilling growing out and sellers can't provide pictures in time for book printing deadlines. But then they come to the sale and bring along pictures to put on the screen for the room to see. It would be nice if the folks on-line could also see them.

Just my thoughts from watching the sale and wishing I could see the son, brother, or whatever they guys are talking about. I like looking at bucks:)

Again this is NOT a slam on the Buckeye sale it is only a thought from watching ALL the sales.

Roger i think your lot did well or even on the high side from looking at the sales.

Yes Mike, actually all things considered I am pleased with the way our lot did. Still a great buy for Scott, and he will for sure get his moneys worth from her. But considering how some other lots did yes I am pleased.

Roger,

Thanks for pointing that out. I think it may be possible for us to have antlers be visible online. We will have to set up an additional camera and have a spot marked on the floor for the consigner to stand but I think it is possible. I do appreciate your comments. The only way we can improve is if you guys tell us what needs done.

Scott,

Thanks for buying the 9 lots online. I wish you the best of luck with them all.

We are currently making plans for our next auction the last weekend in January. Does anyone have a preference of Thursday and Friday or Friday and Saturday?

I think most folks could tune into the auction easier if it was on a Sat. That darn thing called work gets in the way for some ya know;)
