We have a fawn with really bad scours. It was so bad I had to use soapy water to clean her. Being a mother, I did not put gloves on. That was yesterday afternoon and look out today. I have the worst case of scours myself, awful stomach cramping and the inside of my mouth is raw feeling. Any advice....

Maalox and eat some pumpkin for a few days... If it persists, definitely see a doctor. I'm sure you'll be back to normal in a day or too. Btw, I never wore gloves around my fawn(s), although theoretically, I suppose you could've picked up a bug from the stool, but I kinda doubt it.
I never heard of anyone getting the scours from their fawns...but I guess anything is possible.......could it be your nerves......worrying about the fawn?? Just saying......

My wife starts all of the fawns out and cleans and stimulates them at the start and every year she gets the same thing! So YES at our house it is very easy to pick up the bug from em!
