CO2 vs Pump?

you learn to elavate gun on bigger darts ,less there close. i like the pump cause i never need Co2. keep cleaned the wormer and trang rust them quick less you clean ever so often. biggest i ever shot was 3 cc no problem BUt i think i can elevate for much bigger darts DC

Brandon, a big factor is your pen size. I have the X-caliber and love it. Doesn't matter the size of the dart, they are getting whacked with it. I have a pump air gun also. It works well on the bottle fed does. Good luck

Brandon, both work well and I am sure you would not be disappointed with whatever choice you decide on. The Co2 will have more distance and can be regulated with a simple turn of a knob. In colder weather you may find the Co2 having some issues but if you keep it somewhat warmer it works great. I sell all Pneu-Dart projectors and since we started selling them I have sold the X-2 pistol and the X-Caliber rifle the most. The X-Caliber is top of the line and in my mind the best one of the two since you can adjust the pressure up or down without moving and scaring the deer. The X-2 is also adjustable but the knob is on the side of the projector and some movement is involed which might scare the deer but you can also keep it in your coat to help keep the Co2 cylinder warm. The X-2 has a double safety switch so it will not go off in your coat. I have shot both at a distance and very close and with the adjustable pressure knob, you can accomplish both distances and anything in between with ease. the co2 guns and especially the x-caliber's are more consistant and dont bleed off like the pumps do. I do prefer the pump over other co2 guns meaning the Pneudart co2 that is compariable in price as the pump
