Coughing fawn

We have a fawn that was a week old on Thursday. With the flooding, low temps as well as mom not doing a great job taking care of him (his brother died because she ignored him and we were too late) we pulled him. We have now been bottle feeding for 2 days. This morning he started coughing. Suggestions? Antibiotics? Advice?

You might try Nuflor or Resflor also. It will help with pneumonia. Best of luck.

1cc of Draxin may be a little of an excessive amount for a 2 day old fawn. If it were mine my choice would be Baytril and probably about .2 of a cc.............ONLY WHAT I WOULD DO !

1cc i believe is the dose for a 100lbs animal. A bit much i would say. .25cc maybe or Baytril as Wayne says would work well!

Nuflor Plus tetradure Has Worked Well For Us

Thank you all! The vet gave us draxxin and prescribed 0.1cc. He seems much better today and we have not heard any more coughing.
