Where is the best and the cheapest labs to send your CWD test samples to get them tested? I ask this in two sections because the cheapest is not always the best. Anyone have any issues with any testing lab?

Also, what are the address and phone numbers of these labs?

Jack reguardless where you end up going make sure you keep a sample for yourself and one with your vet untill your negitive test comes back. Make the state vet or whomever pulls your sample to write down tag numbers and the date on the samples with his signature. If this is for a wild test well then i guess it would not matter!

Thanks FSW for the reply.

HOWEVER, I am really disappointed that no other people responded. Thanks for the help.

In Indiana we were told by BOAH to send ours to Purdue. I'm not sure if that's the only place we can send to or not. They charge us $35 each if we pull the sample ourselfs and I think it is $65 if we send the head and they pull the sample. The BOAH put on training courses to teach breeders how to pull the brainstorm and lymphnodes.

NVSL was $40

Purdue $35

Ohio $25 with an $8 accession fee per owner so first sample of a group would be $33 then $25 for each sample after that
