Hello everyone,

I am currently developing “The Deer Farmer’s Cook Book” and I am taking submissions for possible inclusion. I am looking for folks to submit their farms signature dish. It can really be anything, not only venison recipes although they are more desirable since this book is for deer farmers by deer farmers. I also would like some profile type info so this can be a chance to market and brand your farms while sharing some great recipes. All submissions selected for the book will include a brief profile of the farm that submitted the recipe and their logo. If you do not have a logo Performance Whitetail Designs has offered their services at a great rate for those selected for the book. I am thinking maybe a short bio and logo followed by an ingredient list and cooking directions. Pictures of the finished dish would also be a great addition but not absolutely mandatory. This is a great opportunity to share your recipes and market your deer and farm for free at the same time.

There will also be limited advertising spots available as well as a possible cover spot that can showcase your prized deer, farm or product at reasonable rates. Since this is my first volume and I know it will be available as an E-book and I am in talks with a publisher to make hard copies available soon after the finished proofs are completed.

Thank you all in advance for your submissions,

Chris Weatherly

Sorry Matt,

You can PM me here or you can send me an e-mail at [email protected],

Subject: Deer Farmer's Cook Book. I am excited about this project and already have a good start. I thought this could really help the deer farming community come together and produce something we all can use. Added benefit, I get to try all the recipes first. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Phillip,

I will make sure everyone knows how to get a copy but for you being the first one to commit, I might just have to sign your copy, lol Thanks for taking an iterest i look forward to seeing a recipe from you real soon.

New and Exciting Format:

Thanks to a new partnership with The Circle J Ranch and Per4mance Whitetail Designs we a have decided to tweak the format for The Deer Farmer’s Cook Book.

First, we have decided to offer this cook book free of charge in the form of an e-book. Hard copy books will be made available for a small fee to cover production and shipping cost.

Second, submissions are broken down into a 2 page format. The first page is going to be for showcasing the farm. That’s right, you now get a full page ad to show case your farm. If you already have a one page ad we can simply insert it here. If you do not have an ad we will use a standard format to create a one page profile that showcases your farm. Please limit graphics to a farm logo and a maximum of 2 photos you feel best represent your farm. Text is only limited by how much can fit on a page. This is the equivalent of a full page ad for free. The second page should include Ingredient List, Preparation Instructions, and if possible a photo of the completed dish.

Finally, we have decided to market this book so that the folks that have taken their valuable time to help us by sending in submissions get maximum exposure. Right now we plan to add links to several high profile websites that are prominent with in the deer farming industry. We will also be taking advantage of an extensive contact list of over 2,000 members of the deer farming community.

The deadline for inclusion is March 15th. Early submissions would be appreciated. Since this publication is designed for promoting the deer farming industry there will be no advertising in this first volume of this publication so that we do not detract from promoting that farms that make this publication possible.

If you would like to make a submission or have any question feel free to private message me or e-mail me at [email protected] .

Thank you for your help,

Chris Weatherly

Crocket PM Sent. I enjoy making the ol' home brew. Though most of my mixes are more gourmet versus lets get tipsy. I enjoy the process alot and the end product just a little more.LOL

The Circle J Ranch Whitetails and Per4mance Whitetail Designs is proud to team up here on this project. I think its a great idea to spread joy and well being through out by showcasing some of these farm secret recipes that we all have. Sharing in this beautiful bounty and love for these great creatures. I will probably have more than one entry. Our family lives revolve around deer and the outdoors. Venison is a huge part of our meals through out the whole year.
