Just lost my 94 year dad this morning. The Lord ended his suffering so we rejoice in his years on earth. My dad Jack was a professional violater so I would like to share a story when I was about 7 I watched my dad back into the back yard at night with 5 large bucks in the back of his pick-up. Of course I went to school the next day and bragged to the teacher and class of what I saw. The teacher talked to my dad and thankful it was kept quite . My dad would sell the deer to a resort owner who would sell to hunters from Detroit and Chicago who came by train to upper Michigan and spent the time drinking and playing poker and never take their gun out of the case. They would later take their buck and board the train home to tell the tall tale to anyone that would listen. I skked my dad a few weeks ago if he remembered how much he sold a deer for about 66 years ago and he said 50 bucks each. Good money for back in the 1940,s. The apple does not fall far from the tree as his son is selling deer for thousands 66 years later Thanks for looking.
