Maybe someone can clear up the thread that was deleted about the fraudulent posts? Trying to understand what took place. Can someone explain?

It wasn't fraudulent posts, just a miscommunication. Donations were being accepted to help pay for medical bills for a young lady. Family changed their mind as to type of treatment and the funds were no longer required. All donation checks were voided, and no money was collected.
The thread was removed at the request of the family to protect their privacy.
