We have a doe fawn approximately 3 months old. I cant get her to eat any textured feed. She will eat grapes and carrots , browse and alfalfa. We started giving her two bottles a day trying to put weight on her.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We had the same problem with our buck and doe fawn we started giving them both scours treatment in each bottle 2 times per day for approximately 12 days and they took to it just fine and they started putting weight on turns out they were both sick and both recovered now I have a 238 inch 2 year old and a very well off doe .just a suggestion.

Her stool looks normal, pellets, they are not hard . We have been feeding her shredded carrots, grapes, apples, leaves, and some rice bran. She will nibble on her textured feed but she is not eating a lot of it.

We have not done a fecal on her but we did give her 1cc ivermectin, we thought she might be wormy.

We have 7 more doe fawns in the same pen and they are all fat, sassy , and eating very well.

I forgot to mention in my original post, we felt like she may have been a little premature when born.

She couldn't walk for about 5 days.

After that she did really well then about 2 weeks ago she started looking really thin and I noticed she wasn't eating as well as the others.
