I watched my Max Factor button buck breed a doe fawn yesterday. My question is how late has others seen there does or doe fawns breed and what are the odds that these doe fawns sticking and carrying full term? I have 6 in with War Factor now. I'm in MN. Thanks ,Charlie!

I will leave my buck fawns in till mid Feb. I was roughly 75% last year, and one was still born. Rest was healthy 6-7 lb fawns. My yearling fawns started dropping first of July.

I would not leave him in past mid Feb, reason is if you have fawns late sept or oct they will have a hard time when the cold weather hits.

We had a doe fawn born out of a last years fawn this October 8th. Looks like it was bred between March 12-22.

That is entirely too late in our opinion but, since we bottle feed it did fine.

We pulled all the buck fawns out for this year already. I wasn't a believer they would breed that late naturally but, the proof is in the pudding!

We had 5 fawns born out of the 9 that were exposed. They were all bottle babies and born in Late July so we thought the breeding would be a minimum which is why they were left together. Whoops!

On a positive note we got some killer pedigreed fawns out of the deal!
