Doe refusing milk at 3 weeks.

The does have been feeding fairly well. For the last 2 days, they refused to take a bottle. They have solid stools, not pellets, and are grazing in the pen and eating deer chow. They have alot of energy and are very tame. Just worried that only being 3 weeks old they aren't getting all the nutrition they need.

Scott, that is not good. They are too young to be getting sufficient nutrition from all solid food. If our fawns quit on the bottle too soon, we stimulate them while feeding, even if they are going on their own. This seems to jumpstart their sucking reflex and gets milk into their stomach. You could also try putting milk in a bowl and seeing if they will drink but we have never had much success with doing that. If all fails, I would get some calf manna or Cargill's Golden Deer Nuggets. They might digest better and could be a better source of nutrition for them.
 
My wife just called and both fawns drank about 5 oz at 0730. I have noticed that their stools are green. I hope it's due to the vegitation their eating.
 
I have noticed when it gets hot, 90's plus with heat index over 105, the fawns slow down for a few feedings, and also the first day or 2 when we first put them out on pasture. I hope all goes well.
 
The fawns don't seem to want to drink as much during the day but, early morning and late evening they can't seem to get enough.

I guess as long as they continue to take the bottle when their hungry, grazing and pooping I won't worry too much.
