:confused:I have a 3 yr old doe has sours have given her draxxin, nuflor, and LA 200, used corid in water. Started giving neomycin doing a little better but losing weight going to fawn in the next few weeks don't want to loose either of them she is a pet gave her fawn paste this morning and electromax . Any ideas would be appreciated. been treating on and off for the last few months.

I'm I not treating long enough.

As for a fecal test the Vet here can't even tell when a fawn is sick I ended up with 2 fawns in vet clinic for a week. Sorry but what is Is50 and where can I buy it ? Will try to get it sent to clinic.

LS 50 is Lincomycin and Spectinomycin. We get at our local Animal Health Center. It is an antibacterial....and it works. Does not work on coccidia or ecoli. So the fecal sample that everyone is suggesting should be done so that you know what you are up against.

we had 2 doe fawns that had gotten scours a week after birth and had kept them for the most of 9 months ,we sent samples to the vet and they couldn't find anything ,we tried everything on the forums and all the advice everyone gave us and(probiotics, drax, penicillion, ext) still the same I finally talked to steve Thayer he suggested a tube of his fawn paste and to start putting shock affect one them two fawns feed ,well after 9 months of fighting this problem they are scour free so this could be something you can take in to consideration

I think I finally have it under control giving 7ml of corid mixed with baby cereal once a day instead of putting in drinking water and 7ml neomycin the same way feeding it with a syringe third day and poop is formed thanks to everyone I think I'm on the down hill side.
