Drug for making bucks lose there antlers

Anyone recall the name of the drug used to make bucks drop there antlers thanks in advance
 
I had a buck rip off his testicles in the drop chute. His back hoof got up real high and when he pushed down his testicles were between the hoof. He hasn't dropped his antlers so this product would work well for him so he can grow in his last set of antlers. If anyone knows the name of this product PM me or email me if it isn't listed on this site. Thanks.
 
Medroxyprogestrone! 2cc will calm their jets but have not shed yet. I used it on a couple breeders and they still have their racks but no longer have the attitude. They calmed right down........
 
the vet got it for me It is really cheap! I have had people tell me that used it that they think it hurts the next years antler growth I only used it on 2 bucks
 
I heard of a guy using hormones in October or November to calm the bucks down from fighting and aggression. That will make them loose their horns also
 
My reason for using it is i have a buck with his burs rub on his skin around them and he has a infection in the skin around the antler. I have a guy i know had the same problem a couple times and he said he gave it to that buck so he dropped his antlers then he had a chance to heal that infection to grow normal racks the next year

He will be fine and the infection will clear up after he drops them on his own. Myself i would not use the drug just for that because i have had many with that little burr infection with never an issue. Not sure of the change the drug may have on the buck growing next years rack so i would only give to breeders and never,never give before Dec-Jan...
 
My vet can get it but it's $340 for 2 ml.??? Any suggestions for a better price?

It has to be thru your vet. last yaer it was $40 for 10cc- (1cc dose)
Now this year they want $100,go figure?
