Thought i would just post a bit of goodness on the forums. There is plenty of bad news and plenty of struggle in deer farming. But this morning I just enjoyed visiting with this new fawn and her mother. Didnt think one time about EHD, CDW, regulations, money, nothing. Just watched a new mother take care of her baby. I thought I would share and maybe bring you a bit of joy as well.

Isn't this the truth. When we have a part in our animals lives it sure will over ride all the crap from critics and regulations.
I sat with one of my mule deer does and helped birth her first fawn and her second. We sat together till the fawns wondered off into the alfalfa. It was a great day.

I have to share a store as well. I had a family come out that lives in a VERY BIG CITY. They have 2 kids 5 and 7 yrs old. The mother told me during their 2 hour visit HOW LUCKY MY FAMILY WAS BECAUSE WE GOT TO SEE THESE BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS EVERY DAY! She told me this 3 to 4 times! Again we never talked about CWD, EHD, Regulations just how amazing her family thought seeing deer was! I almost forgot why I raise these things THANK GOD she reminded me! Take care, JIM S
