Nothing in hunting is "fair". Is it fair that I have a pair of $2000 Leica binoculars(I actually don't) and you have a $25 pair of Tasco's? Is it fair that I have a 300 ulrtamag(I actually don't) that can drop a deer like a rock at 700 yards and you only have a 30-30 that's good for 150 yards? Is it fair that some people have jobs that let them have 20 days per season to hunt and some only have 3 days? Is it fair that I have cameras that tell me when a deers coming and going on my own private property? These people who ***** about fair chase are going to whine about anything that is bigger, better and faster then theirs. I love it when people come to my state to hunt they are called "rich outa staters" by the whiners but when these same whiney people from my state go on a paid hunt in another state it's no big deal. If they don't like high fence hunting then don't do it, simple as that. Some people always gotta try and tell everyone what to do because we aren't smart enough to think for ourselves. Hunting is really gambling. The difference is we can stack the odds in our favor. Every time we stack the odds in our favor it usually costs time and money whether it's leasing or buying more land, more foodplots, better outfitter, bigger corn pyle, more trail cameras, better blinds, kick a$$ high fence hunting area with tons of big bucks, etc.. Some people choose to be go getters and others choose to piss and mone because everyone has it better then them. Like I said in another post, if it was free to these people, they'd almost all come hunt a preserve. Look at Custer State Park, 2,738 applicants for one tag to shoot a high fence bull elk. They can feel good about themselves hunting in that enclosure because they didn't pay for it so they feel like they "did it on their own".
