Hey ya'll have been a big help to me over the last three years, and i just want to say thanks! I have a fawn that seems to be sucking air when feeding, I use the Prichard nipples, I have cut her nipple to make the hole a little bigger when i noticed this but it's not helping. So i was curious to what everyone else uses and where I can find them. Thanks in advance!

We have used both but prefer regular baby bottles and nipples. You have to cut the nipples to enlarge the opening.

Gerber bottles and gerber nipples at Walmart. Highly recommend. Work great and hold up really well- not like soda pop bottles...

Get the longer goat nipples. They are longer and will fit down into the mouth better. We bought a 3 pack for a buck fawn we had that was born with his bottom jaw about an inch to short. He cant grab a regular nipple. $6.99 i believe at Tractor Supply!!!

Like Lana, we used the Gerber nipples as well...and tried to find the most supple of them to use.

And like Steve said, you have to make the holes bigger. We did this by taking a knife and not actually ''cutting'' a hole, but by sticking it in the end of the nipple and slicing a bigger ''X'' in the end.

Wish you the best!

Thanks everyone, I'll try the Gerber ones and let y'all know how it goes, we've always used prichard and never had a problem

She would've kept going too... She's my special Rosa baby. Had a fractured tibia and I used the bottle as a way to keep her really tame so that I could give her her meds via bottle everyday. She was on vitamins, minerals and even aspirin for a while. She just wouldn't stop looking for her bottle, so I kept going. Hehe. I just loved on her a bit too long. Today, she's a big healthy girl and doesn't bottlefeed anymore but always looks for a treat from me as soon as she sees me.
