I was just wondering. I purchased a couple bred does back in March. 2 different farms. Ever since they have been put together the one consistently is chasing and stomping the other. The stomper has had her fawns 2 weeks ago and the other is due this week. I am nervous that the stomper will go after the others helpless fawns once they are born. Question is can I put the doe and her fawns back into the pen she was in up till may alone or do I take the chance everything will be OK with the other does fawns when she does. Don't know if it will cause problems at this point changing pens. Thanks for help!

I had a doe I had to pull out cause she tried to stomp others fawns...

It all depends on the deer...If you are feeling there may be a problem...There probably is

I agree with Painted if you have another pen to put the doe with fawns in I would move her and her fawns. Since one has fawns and the other is getting ready to fawn it shouldn't stress them to be split up. JMO

OK thanks a lot. On my way to split up. I have a bottle fed that I can put in with the doe expecting till She fawns. First fawns on the farm. Just a little paranoid. Something might go wrong with them together ha ha. Thanks again.
