We had our first fawns today but they were in the preserve! Im glad its finally here. Cant wait till our breeding herd starts. Hopefully the next day or two. I checked the one and it was a buck but we couldnt catch up to the other one. Good luck everyone!

We had our first natural bred fawns yesterday. Twin buck fawns. This same doe had fawns last year on the 5th of May.

We had our first fawns this morning Flip/Uno doe live bred to my yearling breeder buck Shadowgrass (Blackshadow/Spiderman) Spiderman is a Soaring Eagle son.

Had a single buck fawn born on my farm on Thursday, A Sundance doe, AI-ed to Pinnicle. She fawned on day 197. The doe is not mine, she is owned by a fellow forum member who boards her here at my farm. Nice healthy fawn, and the doe is a great mother.

My does, which are all live bred, are probably at least a week from starting to fawn.

so far all of our fawns have been several weeks earlier than expected too. not sure whats causing it.

Have had about a dozen so far. Just had a big New Image over King of the Mountain Buck fawn today. Not very politically correct but I think we'll keep him!

We had 2 Maxbo Arty doe fawns this morning. Anyone looking for an Arty/Lonewood/Drifter Doe fawn. Gotta love those NY laws that tell ya how many deer you can have on a piece of property!!!

Just had our first fawn of 2012 born this weekend. We're pretty excited, Cardiac Kid/Bucky/Champ?Little Pebbles/Boomer. A healthy 8 lb doe fawn. Time to start the bottle feeding!
